Most insurance plans cover lactation care as part of preventative health care under the affordable care act. It’s true - if your plan covers things like pap smears, flu shots, and annual physicals, it likely also covers a breast pump, prenatal breastfeeding education, and postpartum lactation care by a board certified lactation consultant. Lincoln Lactation is a preferred provider with many of the most common local insurance companies. Click on yours below to reserve your spot for in-home lactation care.
Don’t see your insurance listed, or prefer self pay? There’s an option here for you as well.
